Artur is a born storyteller. A lighthearted Carioca who is passionate about soccer. Descendant of Italian immigrants, he soon understood that memory is a territory: the stories told by his "nono" took him to another continent, an emotional land. His passion for the audiovisual was also born from family inspiration: his uncle Cezar, a biologist and self-taught photographer, registered with surprising sensibility the daily life of the Italian family that lived in a historical house inside the Parque da Cidade, a park in Rio de Janeiro. The rolleiflex camera framed his past and his future: as a journalist from PUC university in Rio de Janeiro, Artur became a movie and TV director with special interest in culture and biographies. After contributing in many productions with professor Fernando Barbosa Lima, he received an offer from the corporate world he couldn´t refuse: making advertising and institutional films for well-known brands as Itaú, Itaúsa, JBS, Brisanet, J&F and many others. He worked for the main production agencies in Rio, but it was with his friend and filmmaker Silvio Tendler that he learned more than just telling stories, he learned how to make history. The result is true, moving stories.
